Stephen really found that extra 10% in my original demo. Without having to do any re-records, he took my competent production and turned it into something of a professional standard. This wasn't a real live band recording but he gives it that sound; listening to his version, you can suddenly feel the eye contact in the room.

I contacted Stephen to help me with the demo of my band as I was not impressed by the original mix recorded in a studio , here in France.... Stephen took it and the result ( which you can hear on YouTube ) was unexpected and unbelievable. Using not only the technology but also his perfect knowledge of how to get the best of the musical material at his disposal, Steve pushed us to re record some parts and made of what was originally just a demo, into a Mini album. The album got good reviews, and we're proud of the result, even if it was our first time in a recording studio. Another time, I went to the studio and we recorded a track in less than 6 hours ( which you can hear here...)of an idea we worked on. I can't stress enough how good and easy it is to work with Steve and how amazed we are about the results...

I have worked with Stephen and his team a number of times over the last decade and one thing that shines through is his incredible technical skill as an engineer/producer as well as his ability as a musician to "hear" what's needed for the track. I have worked with some well-known producers in studios costing many times more over the years and Stephens studio and capabilities give them all a run for their money. Superb service, great value, you can't really go wrong!

I met Stephen towards the end of 2014 and in the year that I've known him, have been very impressed by his technical knowledge in the studio, his excellent musicianship (a brilliant rock guitarist) and by no means least, his cheerful humour throughout what can otherwise be (in other hands) long recording sessions. Through numerous retakes and meticulous mixing, his patience with those singers & instrumentalists who use his services is key to making the hours fly by without the usual stresses and strains.
